This prominent appraiser is very familiar with the artist’s oeuvre and an admirer of her work. He will appraise any original based solely upon the Statement of Sale with attached slide reference of image accompanying each acquisition. This is an unusual gesture and special convenience offered by Mr. Miller for collectors not wishing to ship work to the Adar headquarters in Palm Beach for on site appraisal. It also recommends the consistently high caliber and collectibility of the artist’s work.
It is strongly recommended that original work by C. L. Cunningham be appraised by any reputable appraiser with a thorough knowledge of contemporary American art for insurance purposes. Actual market valuation is often much higher than the original purchase price.
